    Hi support,
I understand that an attached USB drive is now accessible from a PC on the same LAN so that the contents can be managed, add and delete tracks, remotely. How is the drive accessed from a Mac? Also what is the preferred disk format to use with read/write in mind?
    Kind regards,
    Diki

    Hello Diki,

I don’t believe it is accessible from a PC or Mac, unless something has changed. I’ll get more information.

    Respectfully,

Any update on this? I know I can add new songs by simply dragging the files from my Mac right into the roon software, which is great. But I am trying to figure out how to backup my music that is on a external drive attached directly to the discovery. I tried un-plugging the drive from the discovery and putting it into my mac. It mounts and shows the correct amount of storage remaining but it shows no files in the finder menu..

    any help would be great
    thanks
