Can the Discovery server read an external USB drive formatted as exFAT?
If not, what formats can it read?

I posted this over 2 weeks ago. Is there anybody out there?

Can it read/write an external USB drive formatted as ext3?

Apologies, Unfortunately the Discovery doesn’t support EXFAT

Our discovery supports the following formats

    Ext2
    Ext3
    Ext4
    HFS+
    NTFS
    VFAT
    FAT32

    Hi,
Thanks for answering my question about the various formats, however, I refer you to my other topic question ‘Network access to attached USB drive’, which of these formats can the Discovery read/write?

    Hi Diki,

We by support reading Ext3, but not writing to Ext3 at this time.

    Thanks,
    Charles Mallari

*by reading Ext3, I mean the discovery can view the music files.
