Tagged: USB UAC2 Windows DAC Chip
Would anyone know the model of DAC chip used in the ELAC Element amplifier.
Additionally, most USB audio seems to be limited to 24/96. Could anyone confirm that the ELAC Element allows 24/192kHz via USB?
Thank you. I’d recently purchased the UB5s and am looking at the ELAC Element as my next purchase.
the DAC used in the ELAC Element Amp should be a C-Media, but I don’t know the exact model.
Windows (without dedicated OEM drivers) supports USB Audio up to 24/96. The latest Windows 10 Creators Update brings native USB Audio Class 2 (UAC2) support, like Mac OS does for years.
