    Hi,

    I’m thinking about connecting active 407’s to my Marantz SR5013 AV-receiver and adding 400 series center channel (passive) + surround speakers (passive). Will I face some side effects or difficulties when mixing active and passive speakers in home theater setup?

    Hi Joonas,

    I think it should be fine. This might alleviate the main power going to the left and right, so the rest of the speakers have a little more power. But I would confirm with Marantz as to that functionality.
