Built-In, Optimally-Matched Amplifier

The Debut Connex features two 50-watt Class D amplifiers built directly into the speaker.

These amplifiers have been acoustically matched with the ConneX woofer and tweeter and are designed to run cool and efficiently.

Flexible Connections Options

Connect to just about anything with a wide number of input options including: HDMI ARC, USB Audio (PC/Mac), Bluetooth (aptX), Digital/Optical, and Analog/Phono.

HDMI ARC/CEC - Control with TV Remote

Connect the HDMI ARC output from your compatible television and your TV’s remote control will control the volume of the Debut Connex speakers.

Enhanced Bass Response

ConneX includes Elac’s proprietary XBass Enhancer, providing a better overall bass extension and output (can be turned off).

For better lower frequency extension and to minimize ventilation noise, the bass reflex port on the DCB41 is directed to the rear, in an “S” configuration.

USB Connection - High-Res 96Khz 24-bit

Connect a USB cable from your Windows or Mac computer to the USB input on the DCB41, and you can enjoy high-resolution audio playback up to 96kHz 24-bit. The speakers’ volume can be controlled by the computer’s volume control.

Bluetooth with aptX

Playback your favorite music or podcast from your phone, tablet, or computer using Bluetooth. To ensure the best possible quality the DCB41 features aptX technology delivering true CD quality audio from compatible phones.

Built-In Phono Preamp

The switchable built-in phono pre-amp allows you to connect just about any turntable directly to the speakers using standard RCA cables. A ground screw is also included. Turn it off if you prefer not to use.

How do I know what input is selected?

Can I place the powered speaker on either the Left or Right side?

Can I control the speaker with my TV remote?

Why does it sound weird when I connect my turntable?

Every turntable requires one (and only one) Phono preamp in the chain to correctly playback a record. ConneX includes a Phono preamp, and many turntables have a Phono preamp built-in. You may also have an external Phono preamp.

If you choose to use your turntable's built-in Phono Preamp (or you have an external unit), set the Phono switch on the ConneX to "OFF."

If you don't have a Phono Preamp on your turntable, set the Phono switch on the ConneX to "ON."
