Elac has your solution if you are looking for a great home theatre system. A 3.1 systems include front, center speakers, as well as a subwoofer. A 5.1 channel adds surround speakers to the mix. All 5.1 systems use the same speaker channels and configuration, having a front left and right, a center channel, two surround channels (left and right) and the low-frequency effects channel designed for a subwoofer. A 7.1 channel system adds rear speakers to the 5.1 system.
